Dolby B NR 3 Head

This Hitachi D-7500 is a stereo cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was first sold by Hitachi in 1978 with a list price of USD $695 and discontinued a year later.

The main features of the Hitachi D-7500 cassette deck are: 3 heads and no off-tape monitoring to save production cost, tape type selection and capable of handling normal and chrome tapes.

The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded on the Hitachi D-7500 by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies.
