JVC TD-W301 Stereo Double Cassette Deck

The JVC TD-W301 is a auto-reverse stereo double cassette deck with Dolby B and C noise reduction, it was introduced by JVC in 1989 and discontinued a year later.

The main features of the JVC TD-W301 double cassette deck are: 2 heads, analog 3 digit tape counter, tape type selection with support for normal, chrome and metal tapes.

Typical front loading double cassette deck with the cassette compartiment located on both sides of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well.

Dolby C-type used in the JVC TD-W301 provides 20 dB of noise reduction above about 1,000 Hz, fully doubling the amount given by B-type.
