Dolby B NR Metal Tape

The Pioneer CT-W103 is a stereo double cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was introduced by Pioneer in 1994.

The main CT-W103 features are, tape type selection with support for normal, chrome and metal tapes.

Typical front loading double cassette deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well.

9,5 cm/s faster recording/playback speed used in the CT-W103 offers extended frequency response, increased dynamic range and transient response. CT-W103.

The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded on the Pioneer CT-W103 by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies.

Connection to other audio components for plaback can be achieved by a RCA cable and recording from a source by a RCA cable.
