This Realistic SCT-40 is a stereo cassette deck, it was first sold by Realistic in 1985 and discontinued 12 years later in 1997.

The main SCT-40 features are, tape type selection and capable of handling normal tapes.

Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well.
