Tandberg TCD 300 Cassette Deck

This Tandberg TCD 300 is a stereo cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was first sold by Tandberg in 1972 with a manufacturer suggested retail price of USD $400 and discontinued 2 years later in 1974.

The main features of the Tandberg TCD 300 cassette deck are: 2 heads, mechanical 3 digit tape counter, manual tape type selection and capable of handling normal and chrome tapes, belt driven dual-capstan transport.

Typical front loading cassette deck with the cassette compartiment located on the right side of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed sideways in the cassette well.
