The Wega Modul 42C is a cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was introduced by Wega in 1978 and discontinued a year later.

The main features of the Wega Modul 42C cassette deck are: 2 heads, tape type selection with support for normal, chrome and ferro-chrome tapes.

The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded on the Wega Modul 42C by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies.
